Greetings from Defense Derby.

We would like to introduce the events happening in August.

Please see details below.

In-Game Events

From the Check-in event to the Shop of Blessings on the main screen, be sure to check out the rewards being given through events each month!

▣ Check-in Event

All New Defense Derby users can participate in the Check-in event. Tap the Check-in event icon in the Lobby each day.

How to participate

• Confirm your attendance every day by tapping the Check-in event icon in the Lobby.
• You can participate in the event for 13 days after your first attendance.

Daily rewards

• Day 1: 500 Cubics
• Day 2: 1 Rare Card (Random)
• Day 3: 24 hours’ worth of Gold
• Day 4: 1,000 Gems
• Day 5: 1 Rare Card (Random)
• Day 6: 24 hours’ worth of Gold
• Day 7: 1 Legendary Card (Random)

▣ Lucky Draw

There will be a total of 4 Lucky Draws in August. Tap the Lucky Draw icon in the Lobby and receive one of the rewards available randomly.

Schedule

The Lucky Draw starts on the 1st of each month and resets every 7 days.

• 1st: 2023.08.03 opening ~ 2023.08.09 23:59 UTC
• 2nd: 2023.8.10 00:00 UTC ~ 2023.08.16 23:59 UTC
• 3rd: 2023.08.17 00:00 UTC ~ 2023.08.23 23:59 UTC
• 4th: 2023.08.24 00:00 UTC ~ 2023.08.30 23:59 UTC

Rewards
Rewards are given randomly from 25 types available, including Rare Unit Card, Common Unit Card, Cubics, Gold, and Elixir

Important note

• When the event is reset, the rewards change. This includes the main representative unit. Please be aware that your unused Doubloons will also be reset.
• Doubloons can be earned in Derby Mode matches. (Only 100 Doubloons can be earned each day.)
  • 1st: 15 Doubloons
  • 2nd: 12 Doubloons
  • 3rd: 8 Doubloons
  • 4th: 5 Doubloons

▣ Shop of Blessings

The Shop of Blessings is open each month for guardians. The Shop of Blessings is waiting for you every day of the month. Use Eternal Feathers acquired in Derby Mode to get unit cards!

How to Participate

• Tap the Shop of Blessings event icon in the Lobby to see what's available in the shop.
• 6 types of Rare Unit Cards can be purchased. (However, each unit can only be purchased 3 times.)
• Up to 1,000 Eternal Feathers can be earned during the event. The number of each unit card that can be purchased is limited. Make your purchase selections carefully!

• Dendroid Warrior
• Archer
• Rifleman
• Windy
• Mammoth Bomber

Important note

• You can participate in the event after reaching 400 DP (Derby Points).
• This event is the same each day and does not reset during the month.
• The rewards in the Shop of Blessings reset on the 1st of each month.
• Eternal Feathers can be earned by playing Derby Mode. (Only 100 can be earned each day.)
  • 1st: 10 Eternal Feathers
  • 2nd: 8 Eternal Feathers
  • 3rd: 5 Eternal Feathers
  • 4th: 3 Eternal Feathers
• If a player reaches the limit, they cannot purchase more until the next month.
• At the end of the event, the currency used for the event will disappear."

Themed Mode

Themed Mode is a special event open for a limited time. After playing a match, if you enjoyed it, vote for it as your preference! Before entering Themed Mode, don't forget to set your deck (Heroes, Units, Artifacts, and Castle Skin)! If you enter with an incomplete deck, you will be dealt random cards.

Mode explanation and rules

• Ban
  • A list shows all of the cards in the decks of players participating in the match.
  • You can ban 2 units on the list. During the ban time, players cannot check the cards that other players have banned.
  • If fewer than 2 cards are chosen during the ban time, cards will be banned at random after time is up.
  • After the ban step is over, the 8 total banned cards can be checked.
  • 2 Derby Chips are awarded for each banned unit.

• Match start
  • The match proceeds just as in Derby Mode.

• Voting and rewards
  • If it is your first time playing this Themed Mode, you can vote your preference for the mode on the results screen.
  • Modes with the best results may be brought back in future updates.
  • 300 Cubics are given as a reward for voting about your preference for Banned Picks Mode, given only 1 time per account.

Mode explanation and rules

• Match start and Quests
  • The match proceeds just as in Derby Mode. All units are set the same as Mythic+ grade at level 100.
  • The quest list is shown when the match starts. All players receive the same quests.
  • Tap the [WAVE] button to check quest details. You can check your own minimap or those of other players. During the Scouting Phase, you can check quest progress.

• Win condition
  • You get a victory if you complete a quest and clear the wave in which you complete it.
  • If at the end no player has completed a quest, the 1st place player will receive the victory.

• Voting and rewards
  • If it is your first time playing this Themed Mode, you can vote your preference for the mode on the results screen.
  • Modes with the best results may be brought back in future updates.
  • 300 Cubics are given as a reward for voting about your preference for Clear Mission Mode, given only 1 time per account.
